Your enemy can only defeat you if you let him lie and you agree. Since all the promises of God are yes in Jesus, you MUST know and own them in in order to recognize a lie when it is sent to you.

Paul addresses the believers at Ephesus as saints. Although we were sinners, before we came to Christ, we are no longer. Although we do occasionally sin we are still saints, righteous and holy ones. All this has been done for us by Christ.

Personalize the Scriptures in Ephesians 1 as follows:

“Christ has blessed me with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places. He chose me in Him before the foundation of the world and has made me holy and without blame.

He predestined me to be adopted as sons (or daughters) and made me accepted in the Beloved (Jesus).

In him I have redemption through his blood and forgiveness of all my sins. He made the riches of his grace abound toward me. And he made known to me the mystery of his will.

I have obtained an inheritance. In him I trusted after I heard the word of truth, the gospel of my salvation, and having believed I was sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of my inheritance.”

Ephesians 2

“And He made me alive when I was dead in my sins, when I was by nature child of sin. But God, who is rich in mercy, because of his great love for me, made me alive with Christ…. by grace I have been saved!! And then He raised me up together with Jesus and caused me to sit in heavenly places in Christ… so that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace and His kindness for me!

For by grace I have been saved through faith and that not of myself it is the gift of God. For I am His workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works which God created beforehand that I should walk in them.”

You can do the same with ALL the promises of God……Will you?
